Elbow produced 27 audio-visual programmes - soundscapes, videos and interactives - for the brand new permanent exhibition, Hear My Story, at the National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth. Two of the main attractions are the central immersive film – All of One Company - and the central interactive – Timeline table. All of One Company, created using a combination of First World War film, Second World War film, contemporary news footage, specially shot reconstruction and a dramatic soundscape, is a high-impact, black box film experience that tells the story of the navy in action over the past century. Timeline is an impressive 10ft long, multi touch interactive table. The interface is a brightly coloured, animated seascape, which draws visitors in to over 1,000 elements from the Museum’s extraordinary image and document archive.
