The central exhibit at the Royal Artillery’s museum: FIREPOWER. A dynamic film/montage – three strands of video projected onto four 5-metre screens simultaneously, supported by an emotional vocal track and 17 channels of explosive sound. Consisting of footage from over 80 Imperial War Museum films, together with Soviet ETV film, newsreels from ITN, Pathe and Reuters, and specially shot aerial and reconstruction footage, FIELD OF FIRE is an ambitious recreation of the experience of gunners at war.
